Our trading teams operate across FX, commodities, digital assets and OTC derivatives markets, combining quantitative approaches with deep market understanding. London offers a distinct environment: Oil, gas, power and agriculture markets are driven as much by geopolitics, macroeconomics and physical supply-demand dynamics as by statistical patterns. Home to Optiver's UK-focused Institutional Sales team, the office is critical for connecting our trading desks with a broad network of counterparties across the region.

Our London engineering teams design and deliver new trading systems in areas as the firm expands into new and growing markets. A major area is Digital Assets, where engineers are building infrastructure for fundamentally different market structures and trading environments. London is also leading much of Optiver’s OTC derivatives infrastructure globally, developing the systems and workflows needed to support global product growth.
