Women Win is a global women’s fund with a mission to economically empower women. They work to foster meaningful collaborations between women’s rights organisations and companies like Optiver, enabling them to join forces and sustainably advance women’s economic resilience. By partnering with diverse funds and local groups, Women Win links resources to those best equipped to create lasting and impactful economic empowerment.

The Optiver Foundation appreciates that Women Win addresses the underlying structural barriers many women face in becoming full participants in their economies and societies. It was important to the foundation that this partnership be responsive to the real needs of women around the world and their communities. Fortunately, Women Win’s strategy is deeply rooted in women’s funds and women’s rights organisations expertise, with their core activities structured around building cross-sector partnerships and life skills programming.

The Optiver Foundation’s partnership with Women Win will focus on developing a fund that enhances equal access to STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) for underprivileged girls and women. The fund envisions providing grants to youth-led, women-led and community-based organisations; women-led social enterprises and educational institutions in the Global South. Women Win will manage the fund using its unique experience with inclusive and participatory philanthropy. This will ensure its optimal utilisation, and the active contributions of girls and women in the communities the fund aims to serve.

The Optiver Foundation is committed to women’s empowerment at all levels of society. In partnership with Women Win, the foundation looks forward to using STEM to make a real impact in the lives of women and girls across the globe, ensuring its funding and your donations benefit the communities who need it most. The team would like to thank you for helping make partnerships like this possible.
