What you’ll do
Hiring top talent is a core focus and key driver to Optiver’s success – in this highly competitive market for tech talent our Recruiters are passionate, creative problem solvers who partner with our stakeholders to find and secure the best people.
In this role, you’ll source experienced talent for our Technology team and be part of a recruiting squad who are responsible for advancing Optiver’s end-to-end recruitment strategy to find, attract and hire experienced niche engineering talent.
You will build pools of talent using numerous existing channels and exploring new ones. You will develop strategies to attract and engage talent. As a first point of contact for prospective employees, your focus on delivering an exceptional candidate experience will be fundamental.
You’ll have autonomy to select sourcing channels and methods that are most appropriate to each role, and you’ll work with our recruiters and internal stakeholders to improve sourcing strategies and processes.
What you need
You have experience with creative, multi-channel sourcing for both volume and niche positions across technology disciplines (but not limited to) of Infrastructure, Software Engineering, Dev Ops, Site Reliability Engineering or Data Engineering. You may have been an agency recruiter, working to find rare, niche talent and a proven record of high introduction-to-hire ratio for clients. You may have experience as an in-house sourcer, matching a deep understanding of business needs with a knack for finding and attracting exceptional talent.
You see it as critical to partner with others (within and outside the team) to achieve great things and can apply creativity to solve complex recruitment problems. You recognise the importance of data in recruitment and enjoy challenging the status quo to get the best results. Most importantly you are tenacious and pride yourself on having a growth mindset.
