Someone who will constantly evaluate how we can identify and convert top talent. We are recruiting Talent that will push Optiver forward into the future.

We are always thinking about new ways we can approach our recruitment process. We have freedom to drive new initiatives and ideas in the search for incredible talent. We’re collaborative, data-driven, and big on taking personal responsibility. And we have a lot of fun doing it. Responsibilities include:

  • Building our Tech teams; use cutting-edge recruitment tools and technologies to source top talent
  • Manage full cycle recruiting efforts
  • Stay up to date with technical recruitment trends by leveraging a strong network and conducting industry research
  • Gather and evaluate recruitment data to inform strategy decisions and identify new solutions for assessing talent across a variety of internship and full-time positions
  • Build strong relationships with team leads across the business to evaluate our recruitment process and candidate experience
  • Work alongside our high-performing recruitment team and continue to enhance candidate experience throughout all aspects of our interview process
  • Build and foster relationships with external recruiting agencies; continually evaluating effectiveness

What you need

You have experience with creative, multi-channel sourcing for both volume and niche positions across technology disciplines. Experience within capital markets, and in recruiting traders or researchers is a bonus. You have a logical, common-sense approach to decision making, and you are driven by maximising your value to the business. Ultimately, if you’re passionate about finding great talent, collaborative and a genuine desire to improve, you’ll do well here. Requirements include:

  • Authorisation to work in the UK
  • A Cover Letter outlining your interest in the position
  • Experience in a Technical recruitment role
  • Drive & motivation; ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial & dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to effectively source and convert top tier candidates in “hard to fill” roles
  • Ability to quickly build credibility with hiring managers and stakeholders in the business
  • Concise and polished communicator with strong follow-through
