Identity and Access Management Engineer

The User Solutions Team has a dual function; to ensure our employees can have maximum productivity at all times and to build tooling to improve their user experience. While working closely with enterprise, trading and business side teams you'll be establishing,  diagnosing, automating and building end to end solutions from scratch. Our technology is reliable, low latency, and fundamental to our business, so you will play a vital part in ensuring sure we meet our trading goals.

As an Identity and Access Engineer at Optiver you will own core internal IAM processes for our users while working with stakeholders across business, technical, and enterprise teams.

What you’ll do

  • Own all identity, access management and user authentication issues across the business
  • Collaborate with HR to integrate and best determine user access permissions and data classification
  • Create and define procedures for Active Directory infrastructure
  • Build and maintain automated processes for onboarding, offboarding and transfers – based on PowerShell scripts
  • Partner with individuals across HR technology, compliance, and risk to uphold and maintain internal policies and ongoing regulatory mandates like GDPR
  • Fix a variety of incidents, solve technical ad-hoc problems, monitor performance and manage data reliant systems

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Proactive and driven by your sense of accountability; you appreciate that this position directly affects the momentum and success of our other business areas
  • Hands on understanding with managing and provisioning user accounts within Active Directory
  • Previous experience developing and implementing identity management platforms, such as SailPoint or Federation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deconstruct and communicate technical problems with non-technical groups and third parties
  • Demonstrated familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g. PowerShell and/or Python)
  • Prior hands on exposure to SQL considered a plus
