Senior Software Engineer

As a result of the crucial role IT plays in screen-based options trading, our IT department is growing rapidly and we’re looking for someone to strengthen our IT team and help us realise our ambitions. You may be just the candidate we’re looking for.

What you’ll do
Design, construct and support our trading support systems using mainly C++ and C#. In close contact with our traders, you’ll respond to their needs for solutions with generous budgets and use of the latest technology.

As a senior member of the development team, you’ll develop applications in Windows, Linux, and with C# and/or C++. You should have strong object-oriented design skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems. With creativity and vision, you’ll develop business-critical solutions and be expected to handle continuous change and diverse challenges.

What we need

• A university degree, preferably in IT engineering or information systems
• At least three years as a proven IT developer
• Knowledge, experience and a good track record of working in C++ and/or C#
• A good team player and communicator who enjoys creative freedom and independence
• The ambition to grow through experience, training and on-the-job development.
• Knowledge of the financial sector is a plus, but not essential
