Enjoy working with our traders to write software that matches our very specific needs. Our Developers manage all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, release and production support. These systems cover market connectivity, front-end and server-based trading, risk management, reporting and back office functions. The primary languages our developers use are C++, C# and Python. To succeed, you must:
have commercial programming experience
have excellent programming skills, with a particular focus on object-oriented programming
be experienced with all aspects of the SDLC
be able to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven experience in a team environment will see you shine.
Experience in .NET, Oracle, Linux, Network and multi-threaded programming would be a plus but is not essential.
OPERATIONS
Application Engineers (Trading System Engineer)
Enjoy responsibility for a number of different trading applications with a technical and business focus. This role involves technical troubleshooting, managing application performance and dealing with end-users.
To succeed, you need more than just technical skills, you also need excellent written and verbal communication skills, great problem solving skills, and you need to be proactive and customer-focused. Seal your success with:
experience in Shell scripting, such as Bash/PERL
a first-hand understanding of TCP/IP networks in a UNIX environment, and
proven experience in a mid-level technical role in a fast-paced environment
UNIX System Engineers
This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced UNIX/LINUX System Administrator with great communication skills and a proven background in scripting, such as Perl and Shell. If you also have experience of the following, we would love to hear from you:
UNIX Clustering
DNS/LDAP/SNMP
HP EVA Series SAN storage (StorageWorks)
Storage management
Systems monitoring
Internet Protocol (IP)
HP Openview products
ITIL (Foundation level)
Windows Systems Engineer

To be eligible for this great role, you must:
be MCSE 2003 qualified
have solid experience of Windows 2000/2003 system administration in a medium to large financial organisation
know how to maintain and develop advanced desktop deployment solutions
have advanced programming/ scripting skills (PERL/ VBS)
understand MS SQL and ITIL, as well as CITRIX, VM ESX Server and Advanced packing skills (MSI Building)
Strong communication skills, a desire to work in a dynamic environment, and a great sense of humour will give you the edge.
Network Engineer
If you want to work in an ever moving environment with loads of challenges, this could be the role for you. To succeed, you will also need:
experience designing, implementing and supporting LAN/WAN Cisco Data Communication networks.
technical knowledge of EIGRP, TCP/IP Frame Relay, IPSec, VPN and Ethernet
Cisco Qualifications - CCNA, CCNP, CCIE
excellent communication skills
