Optiver respects your privacy and seeks to protect your personal data.
With the term personal data we refer to information that
identifies you as an individual or is capable of doing so.
Optiver will only have access to the personal data that explicitly
provide to us through this site (such as by filing out a
form or submitting a resume). Optiver does not knowingly
collect or use any personal data from persons under 13 years of age.
The personal data you choose to provide to Optiver will only be used for
recruitment and/ or Human Resources purposes (for instance for selection,
registration, application). The personal data will not be
stored any longer then necessary to use it for this purpose and only for as long
as is permitted by local law. Applications can also be sent to
Optiver by post (the addresses can be found under contact on the Optiver
website).
The personal data you choose to
provide is initially controlled by Optiver Holding B.V. in the Netherlands,
it may be transferred to Optiver organizations in Australia or
the United States (Optiver Australia PTY Limited in
Australia and Optiver US LLC in the United States of America).
The relevant Optiver organization ensures that your personal data is
protected in accordance with the applicable law, even where countries outside
the European Economic Area to which it is transferred may provide a different
level of (legal) protection of personal data is from that offered by legislation
in the European Economic Area or do not have law to protect it. Countries, to
which the Personal Data you choose to provide shall be transferred, can be
provided on request. In order to process the personal data you choose to
provide, your personal data may be disclosed to third parties providing
administration or other services. Such third parties are contractually required
to use your personal data only for your benefit. Optiver does not otherwise
provide your personal data to any un-affiliated third parties.?While we use all
reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal data,
Optiver will have no liability for disclosure of any information obtained due to
errors in transmission or the unauthorized acts of third parties.
Optiver reserves the right to disclose personal data in special cases when we
have reason to believe that disclosing this data is necessary to identify,
contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or
interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or
property, other Optiver website users, or anyone else that could be harmed by
such activities. We may disclose personal data without notice to you in response
to a subpoena or when we believe in good faith that the law permits it or
respond to an emergency situation.
