About Us

Optiver is growing at a rapid yet focused pace. We started in 1986 with an office in Amsterdam with just one trader. Our company has changed significantly since then and so has the world in which we operate. In the face of this growth, our expanding international presence and our strategic objectives, it's important to openly discuss our fundamental beliefs regarding the way we do business. Our fundamental values of integrity, honesty and respect, whether put in writing or not, have always been at the heart of our behaviour.
