Optiver started in 1986 with just one Dutch trader on the floor in Amsterdam but is now a company that employs around 600 people of over 35 nationalities in offices on four continents. As a result, our company is a melting pot of cultures, behaviours and habits. But despite the strong, international growth we have always managed to maintain a highly informal atmosphere and relatively flat organisational structure. And for a reason - as we believe this provides our employees with the flexibility they need to be creative, to research their ideas and to act upon them.
